Marriott International, Inc is a leading hospitality company seeking a Procurement and Inventory Coordinator to join our team. This role will be based at The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort in Florida.
About the Job
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual to manage merchandise receipts, inventory, and supplies. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure efficient stock management and delivery of products to meet customer demands.
Main Responsibilities
- Receive and stage merchandise by department, mark it appropriately for placement in the facility, and deliver merchandise to the appropriate department.
- Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts and complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
- Notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner and refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
- Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related areas and organize, clean, and sanitize all refrigerators and freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required; no related work experience is necessary.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
