Biomedical Equipment Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our team at Compass Group USA. As a key member of our healthcare technology support team, you will be responsible for performing planned maintenance and electrical safety inspections on patient care and support equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical devices and equipment
- Conduct electrical safety inspections and ensure compliance with established standards
- Manage equipment inventory and schedule service as needed
- Develop and maintain PM procedures and manuals
- Provide training to equipment users and Crothall Services Group staff
- Collaborate with fellow technical personnel to ensure technical updates and device-related problems are addressed
- Associates degree in electronics or biomedical equipment technology
- 3 years of experience servicing clinical/patient care equipment in a hospital environment
- Valid driver's license for field service positions requiring travel
- Ability to work independently with some supervision
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good organization and time management skills
- Working knowledge of computer applications for tracking service histories and producing reports
