Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Transdev. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing commercial vehicles and equipment, ensuring that our fleet is in top condition and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair commercial vehicles and equipment, including brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches, and other repairs.
- Complete daily safety inspections and reworks while maintaining production standards.
- Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately.
- Maintain records of all maintenance work completed, including parts and supplies used.
- Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
- 21 years or older.
- 2+ years of diesel or CNG repair employment experience or combination of education & experience.
- Valid Commercial Driving License with passenger and airbrake endorsements or eligible to obtain (Paid training offered).
- ASE certifications preferred. Must participate in company ASE certification program (company training, and testing).
- Mechanic's tool set.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug test.
