Job Overview

This role involves managing the complete accounting cycle, which includes, but is not limited to, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, general ledger maintenance, collections, and generating various weekly reports for assigned clients.


Note: A state background check is required due to the nature of our services.


If you possess outstanding bookkeeping skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to teamwork, you may be a suitable candidate for this position.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilizing QuickBooks for payroll processing, accounts receivable/payable, and collections management
  • Conducting job costing
  • Maintaining the Chart of Accounts and General Ledger within QuickBooks
  • Overseeing cash management systems
  • Assisting in the preparation of tax documentation as directed by external accounting firms
  • Supporting the development of annual budgets and monthly financial reports, including analysis and adjustments
  • Preparing additional financial reports as requested by clients
  • Managing office services functions, including handling calls and administrative tasks
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of three years of comprehensive bookkeeping experience in a related field
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • An Associate's degree in business with a focus on Accounting is preferred, though substantial experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Knowledge of permitting processes
  • Experience in medical billing
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
  • Graphic or web design skills
