We are seeking a seasoned Facilities Engineer to join our team in Nashville, TN. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the operational functionality and safety of our facilities.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading global provider of real estate and investment management services. You will oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.

You will also perform general maintenance and repairs across the facility, including carpentry, painting, and basic repairs. Additionally, you will respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be invaluable assets to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of all MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on MEP systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with MEP systems and implement effective solutions promptly
• Perform general maintenance and repairs across the facility, including carpentry, painting, and basic repairs
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and service schedules

Safety and Compliance:

You will adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and visitors. Your proactive approach to safety will be critical in preventing accidents and injuries. You will conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, with specific experience in MEP systems
• Proven handyman skills with experience in general building maintenance and repairs
• Strong understanding of building systems, safety codes, and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with maintenance management software and tools
• Familiarity with building management systems
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
• Capability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces
• Availability to respond to emergency situations outside of regular working hours

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
