Job Summary

The Database Engineer will be a key member of the game creation process, working on complex problems with designers, artists, and other engineers in domains including rendering, gameplay, audio, user interface, online, physics, databases, and tools.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to gather requirements and develop technical designs
  • Modify SQL database schemas and implement C++ code
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs, working with proprietary tools to manage and export game data
  • Work with a large team both locally and remotely, using common software engineering design patterns and paradigms
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of C++ and experience with C#, SQL databases, HTTP, and REST-based APIs
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting ability, with excellent time management and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and experience working with JSON and XML data formats
