Job Summary

This internship position is part of the Lockheed Martin Intern Academy, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity critical skills assignments. As a participant, you will be expected to complete rotational assignments, including approximately 320 hours of summer practicum experience, 80 hours of training, and 10 hours of training during the academic year. You will also have the option to support recruitment efforts as an intern ambassador for 10 hours during the academic year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate systems and designs to determine cybersecurity characteristics.
  • Identify and conduct cybersecurity testing and risk analysis at the system and component level.
  • Communicate assessment results.
Requirements
  • General understanding of system and component functionality.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity requirements.
  • Experience in testing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong interest in the defense industry and national security.
  • Interest in pursuing coursework, training, and assignments in multiple engineering functional areas to expand interdisciplinary knowledge and systems thinking.
  • Adaptable and willingness to stretch technically and learn new things.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
