Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy Formulation: Partner with healthcare leadership to create and execute HR strategies that resonate with organizational objectives and tackle significant HR issues. Offer insights on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and organizational growth.
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Aid clients in crafting successful recruitment and staffing methodologies. Support the development of job specifications, candidate sourcing, and management of the hiring process to secure and maintain exceptional talent in healthcare positions.
- Employee Relations Management: Tackle employee relations challenges, including conflict resolution, performance evaluation, and disciplinary measures. Provide counsel on fostering a constructive work atmosphere and enhancing employee engagement.
- Compensation & Benefits Structuring: Assess and design compensation and benefits schemes to ensure market competitiveness and alignment with industry benchmarks. Assist in formulating and executing salary frameworks, benefits offerings, and incentive plans.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and employment legislation, including HIPAA, FMLA, and OSHA. Support audits, policy formulation, and the adoption of best practices to fulfill legal and regulatory obligations.
- Training & Professional Development: Create and implement training initiatives to boost employee competencies, knowledge, and compliance. Provide assistance for leadership training, career advancement, and succession planning.
- Performance Evaluation: Establish and oversee performance assessment systems and procedures. Assist clients in defining performance objectives, conducting assessments, and formulating performance enhancement strategies.
- HR Technology Implementation: Advise on and facilitate the adoption of HR technologies and systems, such as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and applicant tracking systems (ATS). Ensure the effective utilization of technology to streamline HR functions.
- Organizational Culture Development: Support clients in cultivating and maintaining a positive organizational culture that enhances employee satisfaction, productivity, and retention. Provide recommendations for initiatives that build culture and promote employee engagement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Promote communication between HR teams, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders. Prepare and present analyses, findings, and suggestions to senior management and other key decision-makers.
Qualifications:
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- Professional Experience: 4-6 years of experience in human resources consulting or HR management within the healthcare sector or a related field.
- Core Competencies: Strong knowledge of healthcare HR practices, employment regulations, and compliance requirements. Expertise in recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and benefits administration.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to convey complex HR concepts and recommendations clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical capabilities with the proficiency to evaluate HR data, identify patterns, and provide actionable insights and strategies for HR enhancement.
- Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to oversee HR projects, including collaboration with cross-functional teams and delivering outcomes within set timelines.
- Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, strategic thinker, and adept at working independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
