Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our team at Turner Construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform layout and control work for building projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contract documents.
  • Implement and maintain site safety programs, promoting a culture of safety among subcontractors and Turner employees.
  • Oversee subcontractor compliance with Turner's safety standards and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of contract documents and electronic web-based documents related to field operations.
  • Prepare Daily Construction Reports (DCRs) to track project progress.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of work for quality assurance.
  • Analyze contract drawings and specifications to ensure compliance.
  • Compile project as-builts to document completed work.
  • Promote Turner's interests and protect company assets.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or a relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in building construction, engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven initiative and desire to learn and grow with the company.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and Microsoft Office suite.
Work Environment:

This role will be based in an office or remote setting with occasional visits to construction sites. The successful candidate will be required to work safely and in compliance with Turner's safety policies and applicable laws.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
