Job Summary

The Product Marketing Assistant (PMA) is a key member of the product management team, responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the product manager(s). This role is critical to the promotion and growth of designated product lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the development and implementation of product marketing strategies and plans.
  • Provide administrative support to the product manager(s), including data entry, report generation, and communication with suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, including communication, negotiation, and problem-solving.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of product documentation, including product descriptions, specifications, and pricing information.
  • Support the product manager(s) in the development and implementation of product launch plans, including marketing campaigns and sales promotions.
  • Assist with the analysis and reporting of sales data, including sales trends, customer feedback, and market research.
  • Provide support for special projects and initiatives, as assigned by the product manager(s).
Requirements
  • Associate degree (A.A.) from a four-year college or university; or two plus years related sales/marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in electronic component distribution sales or closely related field preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of basic business formulas.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Working Conditions

This is a sedentary role that requires occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds and frequent use of computers, reading, writing, and typing.
