About the Role

The Clinical Support Specialist provides direct patient care in a clinical setting, working under the direction of registered nurses to ensure safe and appropriate patient care. This role involves performing phlebotomy and EKGs, utilizing the hospital information system to order diagnostic tests and therapies, and obtaining patient information and test results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow attendance standards and expectations with minimal tardiness or absenteeism.
  • Complete all mandatory educational programs and orientation requirements.
  • Participate in continuing education activities and adapt to floating to other units when required.
Requirements
  • A high school graduate with up-to-date CPR certification.
  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • Phlebotomy training or certificate, with EKG training preferred.
  • Compliance with PPD requirements.
Work Experience
  • New graduates are welcome to apply, with one year of hospital experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
