Clinical Data Support Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Data Support Specialist to join our team at Lifelancer. As a Clinical Data Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the identification, collection, and processing of reportable cancer cases to maintain compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation agencies.

About the Role:
  • Process case finding resources as defined in the Cancer Registry Policy and Procedure Manual.
  • Utilize electronic processes and sources to maintain required case follow-up as defined in the Cancer Registry Policy and Procedure Manual.
  • Collect treatment records and provide information to Cancer Registry Coordinator.
  • Track Cancer Conference information needed for accreditation based on the current standards.
  • Support the team as needed to assist with special projects, surveys, audits, database maintenance, and other activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Evaluate concordance with cancer program accreditation and other applicable standards.
  • Exposure to multiple patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases.
  • CTR eligible.
  • Currently enrolled and have completed or in process of completing practicum/or a Graduate of a Cancer Information Management program.

Salary:

The target wage range for this role is $17.00 - $20.00 per hour, dependent upon skills, experience, licensure, certifications, and other business considerations.
