Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Alakaina Family of Companies. As an Incident Response Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our government customer located in Honolulu, Hawai'i.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Analysis and Response: Conduct thorough analysis of security incidents and recommend effective mitigation measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Threat Intelligence: Monitor and analyze security event information to identify potential or confirmed cyber incidents and security issues.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Provide situational awareness to stakeholders and collaborate with Law Enforcement and counter-Intelligence agencies to investigate and respond to cyber incidents.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Create professional written reports to technical and non-technical audiences, including incident trend analyses and summaries of investigative findings.
  • Training and Development: Mentor junior analysts and update Incident Handling procedures, response guidelines, and playbooks based on findings and lessons learned.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, or relevant certifications such as CBROPS, FITSP-O, GISF, CCSP, CEH, Cloud, GCED, PenTest, or GSEC.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in Information Assurance Systems/Network Analysis, with experience in advanced detection capabilities for Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Digital Forensic solutions.
  • Certifications: Must meet the following Computing Environment (CE) certifications within six months of hire: CIO/G6 NETCOM IA MD-101 Managing Modern Desktops Skillport Course, MS 365 Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Operating System Certifications, and IA Awareness Training, Antiterrorism Level I, iWATCH, Level I OPSEC, TARP Training, and Theater Specific Training.

Clearance and Citizenship:

  • Clearance: Must have a TOP SECRET/SCI clearance OR a SECRET clearance with the ability to upgrade.
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
