We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Surgery Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Northeast Healthcare Recruitment. This locum tenens position involves providing high-quality care to pre- and post-cardiac surgery patients in collaboration with a team of cardiac surgeons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop patient care plans in collaboration with cardiac surgeons.
- Manage treatment plans and monitor the progress of patients recovering from cardiac surgery.
- Perform clinical rounds and provide critical care management in the ICU and CVU settings.
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Connecticut.
- Experience in cardiac surgery, cardiovascular care, or a related critical care field.
