Job Summary:

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a qualified Mental Health Practitioner to join our Crisis/Irts team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing person-centered mental health services to clients.

Main Responsibilities:

* Provide mental health services to clients, including assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients to support their mental health recovery.
* Demonstrate intermediate-level clinical knowledge and modeling to support client goals and treatment plans.
* Provide skill-building, teaching, and coaching to clients as needed.
* Assist with client intake and admission paperwork, as well as program orientation.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in behavioral science or related field, with proof of a practicum or internship that requires direct interaction with adults or children served.
* OR 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral science or related field, with proof of a practicum or internship that requires direct interaction with adults or children served.
* OR 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to people with mental illness.
* OR 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to people with traumatic brain injury or developmental disabilities, with training on mental illness, mental health de-escalation techniques, co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse, and psychotropic medications and side effects.
* OR Fluency in the non-English language of the cultural group to which 50% of the practitioner's clients belong.
* OR High school diploma and 4,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to people with mental illness, traumatic brain injury or developmental disabilities, and completion of training on mental illness, mental health de-escalation techniques, co-occurring mental illness and substance abuse, and psychotropic medications and side effects.
* OR Currently enrolled in a graduate-level behavioral sciences program at an accredited college or university, with formal assignment to the program for clinical training.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's degree in behavioral science or related field, with 4,000 hours of experience.
