Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Spiritual Care Professional to join our team at UNC Health Rex in Raleigh, NC. As a per diem chaplain, you will provide high-quality pastoral care to patients, family members, and staff, focusing on crisis and routine spiritual needs during on-call shifts.

You will work closely with our department of Pastoral Care to provide support and guidance to those in need. With robust ACPE CPE and clinical chaplaincy programs, you will have opportunities for growth and development in your career as a spiritual care professional.

This position requires a minimum of one unit of ACPE CPE completion and ordination and ecclesiastical endorsement from a denomination/faith group (preferable). A Master's degree (MDiv) or equivalent is also required. With a competitive salary range of $17.00 - $23.46 per hour, you will be well-compensated for your dedication and hard work.

Responsibilities
- Provide pastoral care and support to patients, family members, and staff during assigned on-call shifts.
- Participate in the ministry of the department through the overnight on-call schedule, responding pastorally and timely to all situations requiring pastoral care and support.
- Respond to all pages, referrals, and EPIC consults during assigned shift, including traumas, deaths, and codes.
- Document all pastoral care encounters in EPIC and the departmental log.
- Complete all administrative tasks such as LMS modules and Employee Health requirements by the deadline.
