The role of Patient Services Representative is dynamic and adapts to the daily clinical and administrative needs of the practice. Responsibilities encompass supporting healthcare providers with clinical tasks and direct patient interactions, as well as assisting with the administrative functions of the office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients upon their arrival
  • Update and verify patient information
  • Collect outstanding payments and co-pays
  • Manage phone communications and relay messages
  • Confirm insurance details
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in a medical office setting is advantageous
  • Post-secondary education in a healthcare-related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is beneficial
