Position Summary:

In the role of Vice President of Total Rewards, you will be instrumental in shaping and implementing a comprehensive strategy for compensation, benefits, and recognition, along with overseeing HRIS functions. Your strategic direction will enhance our compensation, equity, and benefits initiatives, ensuring alignment with Help at Home's core values. As a pivotal member of the HR Leadership team, you will collaborate closely with senior executives to design and execute competitive reward programs on a large scale. This position reports directly to the Chief People Officer and offers a unique opportunity for a leader in compensation and benefits to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Articulate and promote Help at Home's Total Rewards philosophy to support both immediate and long-term business goals.
  • Lead the strategic development and implementation of the organization’s compensation, equity, and benefits programs to achieve desired business outcomes, uphold organizational values, and enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Direct all compensation and equity initiatives, including job architecture strategy, salary benchmarking, comprehensive compensation analysis, and updates to the compensation framework for all roles.
  • Ensure that Help at Home's benefits offerings meet the diverse and evolving needs of our workforce while remaining compliant with all applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with key HR Leadership Team members to leverage market insights and competitive talent dynamics, ensuring fairness and compliance in compensation practices.
  • Oversee the HRIS, including the management of the Workday implementation process.
  • Design and refine variable compensation structures through effective incentive plans that align with both organizational and individual objectives.
  • Manage relationships and projects with external partners, consultants, and vendors related to Total Rewards.
  • Ensure that compensation and benefits practices contribute to our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion goals through innovative approaches throughout the Total Rewards cycle.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to enhance employee understanding of compensation and benefits programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a Compensation and Total Rewards capacity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and managing comprehensive Total Rewards programs within large organizations.

Required Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits administration, job evaluation, and salary structure design.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at the executive level.
  • Extensive experience in team management and leading large-scale projects.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), particularly in compensation and benefits administration tools, preferably Workday.
  • Ability to assess and recommend new tools, implementing impactful improvements efficiently.
  • Excellent collaborative skills, fostering proactive communication and strong relationships across all organizational levels.
  • A strategic and analytical mindset, committed to serving the organization and its workforce.
  • A strong advocate for the importance of a robust compensation and benefits program in supporting long-term business strategy and organizational culture.
  • Solid business acumen, including proficiency in MS Excel and the ability to create presentations for executive audiences.
  • Sound judgment and the capability to make independent, informed decisions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasional travel may be required based on business needs.
