Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at MedTeam Staffing. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and processing blood samples from patients in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collect and store specimens according to established procedures
* Properly label and centrifuge specimens as required by test order
* Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes
* Demonstrate technique using straight needles and/or butterfly needles
* Understand and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations
* Participate in annual department trainings
* Answer telephone calls and read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries

Requirements:

* Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed
* Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
* High School Diploma or GED
