Reporting directly to the Director of Technical Accounting, the Principal Technical Accountant will play a key role in evaluating transactions to uncover potential accounting challenges.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of revenue recognition, lease agreements, stock-based compensation, financing structures, and mergers and acquisitions
  • Preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, adherence to SOX regulations, and external financial reporting
  • Technical accounting for stock-based compensation, earnings per share (EPS), and equity transactions
  • Assist with annual audits and quarterly reviews in collaboration with external auditors
  • Investigate and document accounting standards and procedural recommendations
  • Engage in special projects and analytical tasks for management
  • Disseminate updates on new US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC regulations to the team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting
  • CPA certification is required
  • In-depth technical knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations
  • A Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
  • Experience within the technology sector or with large accelerated filers is advantageous
  • Strong grasp of internal control frameworks
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse cultures and time zones
