Required Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED is mandatory. ARDMS or ARRT registry is essential.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year in Vascular Sonography is required.
  • Licensure/Certification: Must possess ARRT RT(S) or ARDMS certification or be Board eligible. RVT certification is required.
  • Essential Skills: Must demonstrate the ability to complete both generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; possess strong communication skills; be capable of working independently in diagnostic settings; have a working knowledge of various ultrasound equipment; and be adaptable to diverse situations and procedures based on patient age. Ability to interpret information to identify each patient's care requirements relative to their age-specific needs is crucial. Basic computer proficiency is also necessary.
