Job Title: Travel Interventional Radiology

Join our team of skilled healthcare professionals as a Travel Interventional Radiology specialist. This exciting opportunity allows you to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your expertise in medical imaging to make a real difference in patient care.

About the Job

This is a first-shift position with call, requiring a staggered start time between 07:00 and 08:30 for 8 hours/day, Monday to Friday. The unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025, to ensure a smooth transition through the holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, drainages, and vascular studies.
  • Work with Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment, with Acuson preferred.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in on-call rotation, with weekends and evenings/nights covered.
  • Float to other units as needed, based on skill sets and census.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in interventional radiology.
  • Traveler experience required; no first-time travelers accepted.
  • Locals accepted, with a rate difference.
  • Skills: Neuro experience, inpatient hospital experience, PACS, contrast required.
  • Certs: BLS and ARRT P.
Preferred Skills
  • ARRT Advanced Cert preferred.
  • EPIC and McKesson preferred.
Work Environment

This is a hospital-based position, with a daily case load of 13-17. The unit provides a supportive environment, with a focus on patient care and teamwork.
