Location: Onsite

Role Overview:
The Production Technician will be responsible for the assembly of cables and harness assemblies.

This position may involve executing various electrical assembly tasks, including soldering, wiring, cutting, chassis marking, preparing terminations, and harness or cable forming and lacing.

The individual will be expected to adhere to established techniques and procedures to ensure the production of high-quality products that meet specified standards.

Accountability for working within planned labor standards and schedule requirements is essential.



Essential Skills:
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Ability to comprehend and follow written technical instructions
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and automated assembly equipment
- Capability to interpret technical drawings
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn proper Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive (ESD) handling processes
- Ability to work under a microscope
- High School Diploma and must be at least 18 years old
- Must successfully complete JST-001 and 002 soldering classes and tests, along with program-specific soldering training (soldering under a microscope)
- Competence in applying potting and coating to assemblies
- Willingness to work overtime as needed

Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in electrical and mechanical assembly
- Soldering experience and relevant certifications
- Experience in cable and harness assembly

Knowledge of assembly and safety best practices is crucial to prevent damage to equipment and materials, as well as to ensure personal safety.

The Production Technician will perform work assignments in accordance with written technical instructions and engineering documentation, receiving departmental assignments through verbal direction from supervisors or group leaders.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining good housekeeping practices within the work area and supporting end-of-shift cleanup duties.


As business needs evolve, flexibility regarding overtime or shift modifications may be required.
