Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Inpatient Registered Nurse to join our team at Hampden Medical Center. As an Inpatient Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients, and advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records, and administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects.
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • BLS certification prior to orientation completion.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred, and Neonatal Intensive Care experience preferred.
