At M.C. Dean, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Foreman to join our team. As a Telecommunications Foreman, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and scheduling crews to complete assigned work orders, ensuring high-quality installations and monitoring task completion, compliance, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign tasks and ensure work is installed in a high-quality manner
  • Perform quality inspections and monitor task completion and compliance
  • Lead project teams in the installation of telecommunications cabling and equipment
  • Collaborate with senior management and supervisory personnel to resolve work procedures, complaints, and construction problems
  • Interpret and explain plans to field workers
  • Terminate, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling
  • Install various pathways and cable tray
  • Install telecommunications devices and prefabricated components
  • Install telecommunications grounding systems
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in the commercial communications industry
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Possesses a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Successfully pass a background check and drug test
  • Have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
  • Ability to pass a basic telecommunication knowledge test
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
Physical Abilities:
  • Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period
  • Relocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance
  • Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders
  • Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls, and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis
