We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and other medical staff in specialty service line cases throughout the operating room.
- Anticipate the surgeon's needs for procedures and instruments, maintaining sterility and transporting patients.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Participate in maintaining a safe and clean operating environment.
- Equivalent to graduation from high school and graduation from an accredited program for surgical technologist or completed a training program administered by the United States Public Health Service, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a specialty service line Surgical Technologist role is required.
- Certified Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology (NBSTSA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accepted by the American Heart Association (AHA).
The University Medical Center of Southern Nevada offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including:
