Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Las Vegas, NV. As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members, prioritizing patient needs and safety.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications as ordered, with accurate documentation and adherence to hospital policies.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post-procedure, identifying potential complications and taking appropriate action.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time, ensuring timely and effective patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hospital standards and protocols.
  • Transport patients as needed, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist, with a strong track record of providing exceptional patient care.
  • Other certifications may be required for this position, depending on the specific needs of the hospital.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use PC skills to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Physical abilities: remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
