We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Merchandise Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive store environment that promotes a culture of honesty and integrity.
- Orchestrate truck delivery and prioritize the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Monitor productivity and coach Associates as necessary to ensure tasks and activities are completed according to store plan.
- Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
- Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Communicate effectively with management and Associates to set and address priorities, and provide progress updates.
- Participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs, and promote safety awareness and a safe environment.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Capable of multi-tasking and responding to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors.
- Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
- 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
