Job Summary:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Delivering personal care to ensure hygiene and physical comfort for patients.
  • Assisting with daily activities such as feeding, bathing, grooming, changing clothes, and bed making.
  • Supporting patient mobility through ambulation, lifting, turning, and transferring.
  • Administering skin care and assisting with bowel and bladder management.

Your contributions will be essential in meeting the fundamental needs and comfort of patients, aligned with your skills and scope of practice.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program or military medical training.
  • Preferred experience of six months in a related role.
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant from the Washington State Nursing Commission.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Note: For those without CNA certification but meeting the core job qualifications, you must have completed the required clinical experience and provide proof of application for CNA certification, which should be obtained within a specified timeframe from the date of hire.
