Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a full-time, PRN, or PRN float pool position. As a COTA, you will provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).

Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients under the direction of the supervising OT
  • Chart patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Utilize therapy software to document patient information
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
  • Assist in the evacuation of patients
  • Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
  • Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
Requirements
  • NBCOT certified upon hire, but renewal is optional going forward
  • Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT)
  • Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
  • One (1) year experience in post acute care or related setting preferred
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
