Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dietitian to join our team at Shady Knoll Health Center in Seymour, CT. As a Dietitian, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met, while maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.

• Plan, organize, and develop menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents
• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring proper temperature and serving times
• Educate department staff on dietary functions and therapeutic diets
• Oversee inventory management and ensure sufficient supplies are maintained
• Formulate menu planning within accepted therapeutic guidelines
• Ensure quality and quantity of all food delivery

• Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university
• Current registration as a dietician by the Committee of Dietetic Registration
• Minimum one year experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility
• Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.
