Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Duties: Supervise daily office and clinical operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently, even during staff absences.
  • Monitor staff performance and operational metrics on a daily basis.
  • Manage overall operations, including:
    • Creating monthly on-call schedules.
    • Reviewing on-call logs and addressing any issues.
    • Overseeing complaint forms and quality improvement reports.
    • Conducting onsite supervision of nursing and therapy case managers.
    • Facilitating monthly training sessions and staff meetings.
  • Complete weekly audits and maintain documentation as required.
  • Prepare the agency for state and federal surveys and audits.
  • Function as a staff nurse when necessary, providing support to the clinical team.
  • Manage accounts payable and ensure timely billing processes.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Ensure individualized care plans are developed and executed appropriately, with regular reassessments as needed.
  • Review evaluation packets and ensure accuracy in documentation.
  • Follow up on referrals and manage the admission process effectively.
  • Conduct weekly case conferences to address client needs and discharge planning.

Quality Control:

  • Review infection control reports and implement necessary follow-ups.
  • Conduct quality improvement functions and develop corrective action plans as needed.

Human Resources:

  • Oversee recruitment, hiring, and orientation of staff to meet operational needs.
  • Handle employee evaluations and counseling as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold a valid nursing license.
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in home health.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and operational guidelines.
  • Proficient in computer skills and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
