Job Summary

The Chief Financial Officer will oversee all financial functions for OrthoCincy, including budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role will also direct the finance team in maintaining accurate and timely financial information for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to ensure the organization's financial goals are met.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial reports to management and the board of directors.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and maintain effective internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
  • Financial Systems: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Leadership: Direct and supervise the finance team to ensure effective and efficient financial operations.
  • Communication: Communicate financial information to management and the board of directors.

Requirements

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. Master's degree in finance and/or CPA preferred. Minimum three years of financial management experience including two years in a health care organization.

Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Abilities: Ability to delegate responsibility and authority to staff. Ability to work creatively with management and department staff to achieve objectives. Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment.

Work Environment: Office environment.

Mental/Physical Requirements: Involves sitting approximately 90 percent of the day. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
