Occupational Therapist for Special Education

Job SummaryAt Ladgov Corporation, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Special Education Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in occupational therapy and be licensed as a School Occupational Therapist in the state of New Mexico. With a minimum of five years of experience in occupational therapy, this professional will provide high-quality services to students with special needs in a school setting.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to identified students, including evaluations, treatment plans, and therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and achieve goals.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and required documentation.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress assessment.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to occupational therapy services in a school setting.
- Master's degree in occupational therapy.
- Licensed School Occupational Therapist certified in the state of New Mexico.
- Minimum of five years of experience in occupational therapy.
