Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Assembler to join our team at Folience. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for cutting laminate according to work orders and blueprints for cabinets, as well as preparing boards for builders to assemble cabinets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut laminate according to work orders and blueprints for cabinets
  • Prepare boards for builders to assemble cabinets
  • Assist other departmental employees in maintaining a quality product
  • Interact with internal and external customers
  • Participate in the Life Line Emergency Vehicle Team
Requirements
  • Mechanical aptitude, including power and/or air tools
  • Ability to run or learn to run sander, router, table saw, chop and miter saws, and other equipment
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with carpentry processes
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to teach other employees processes
  • Good finish work skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
  • Inspect finished products during manufacturing
  • Apply quality assurance techniques
  • Meet or exceed cost reduction goals
  • Understand manufacturing methods and techniques
  • Knowledgeable of Life Line product and materials needed for production
  • Work closely with Engineering staff
  • Meet deadlines
  • Work with and assist other production personnel
  • Work closely with parts department on items needed
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Good measuring and mathematical skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent interaction with internal and external customers and is an active member of the Life Line Emergency Vehicle Team. The employee regularly works indoor conditions and is occasionally exposed to outside elements.

The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, cold, and heat.

The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
