About the Role

The Methodist Home of Kentucky, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Care Associate to join our team. As a key member of our residential treatment program, you will provide nurturing and therapeutic support to our youth, helping them develop essential life skills and overcome challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with youth, ages 17-21, who have experienced trauma and emotional distress.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Act as a positive role model, promoting healthy lifestyle choices and social skills.
  • Support youth in their treatment plans, including learning coping skills and managing emotions.
  • Participate in recreational activities and campus events, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Kentucky Driver's License.
  • Pass a background check and drug test.
  • Training in CPR/First Aid provided.

We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of $16-$17, based on experience and education.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance.
  • Tuition assistance and continuing education support.
  • A retention bonus of $500 at 3, 6, and 9 months, totaling $1500.
