Pharmacist Job Description

Weis Markets is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our customers by providing expert advice and guidance on prescription medications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the pharmacy manager to control inventories and order pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand.
  • Weigh, measure, mix, and fill bottles with the correct quantity and composition of medications.
  • Provide advice to self-medicating patients and dispense non-prescription medications.
  • Maintain open communication with health and insurance professionals.
  • Perform patient immunizations and schedule pharmacy associates as needed.
  • Assist the manager with training and development of department personnel.
  • Help control department expenses and respond to customer complaints and questions.
  • Maintain a safe and clean department environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D degree.
  • State Pharmacist License.
