Pharmacist Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join our team at WEIS LLC. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

• Work closely with the pharmacy manager to control inventories, track sales, and order pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand and maximize profits.
• Weigh, measure, mix, and fill drugs and medical compounds with precision and accuracy.
• Provide advice to self-medicating patients and dispense non-prescription medications as needed.
• Maintain open communication with health and insurance professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Perform patient immunizations on a regular basis and assist with scheduling, training, and development of pharmacy associates.
• Help control department expenses by monitoring operations, ensuring labor goals are met, and reducing losses due to shrink.
• Respond to customer complaints and questions in a courteous and efficient manner, providing effective counseling on prescription-related issues.
• Maintain a safe and clean department through effective housekeeping and adhere to company, health department, and OSHA standards.

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D degree.
• State Pharmacist License.
