Job Summary:

We are seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at WorkCare, Inc. This is a per diem position that will support medical and safety efforts at a large-scale construction site in Boise, ID. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to ensure the health and well-being of employees on-site.

The ideal candidate will have experience in occupational health, with a strong background in nursing and case management. They will be responsible for providing medical care to clinic patients, evaluating and treating occupational illnesses and injuries, and assisting with other occupational and environmental health services as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care to clinic patients, following established treatment guidelines and protocols
  • Evaluate and treat occupational illnesses and injuries, referring cases to providers as necessary
  • Assist with Workers' Compensation claims, communicating with clients and carriers as needed
  • Maintain accurate and complete Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in Cority
  • Perform regulatory testing, including respiratory medical evaluations, spirometry, audiometry, vision tests, and more
  • Participate in training programs, such as First Aid, CPR, and AED certification
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement health and safety initiatives on-site
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices in occupational health

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid Idaho RN license
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Current BLS certification required
  • 5-7 years of RN experience, with 2-3 years in urgent care, emergency department, or occupational health setting
  • Certification in Occupational Health preferred

Salary:

$75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
