At Grady Health System, we are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider Manager to join our team. As a key member of our critical care and acute care teams, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of critically ill patients and providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for critically ill patients
- Supervise and mentor Advanced Practice Registered Nurses and Physician Assistants
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Manage and coordinate patient care services, including ordering diagnostic tests and prescribing medications
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
- Two or more years of experience as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse or Physician Assistant
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
