Job Summary

GAL AeroStaff Ltd. is a leading provider of aerospace staffing solutions, specializing in temporary and permanent staffing for general and technical positions in the aviation and aerospace industry.

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Structures Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, inspecting, and performing maintenance on customer aircraft sheet metal components, composites, and hydraulics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex structural issues on aircraft components
  • Inspect and maintain aircraft sheet metal, composites, and hydraulic systems
  • Perform and document all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations
  • Operate ground support equipment as required
  • Assist with aircraft component repair and fabrication
Requirements
  • Typically 0-2 years of structural sheet metal repair/modification experience or substantiated similar experience
  • Sheet metal A/C Tech school or equivalent schooling
  • Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
  • A Certification, or A & P Certificate or Repairman Certificate – (Commercial Only)
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and/or aircraft status
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience on corporate jet aircraft/commercial aircraft
  • A Certification, or A & P Certificate or Repairman Certificate - (Business A/C only)
