Job Summary

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking a skilled Aviation Structures Technician to join our team in Hartford, CT area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining customer aircraft structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex structural issues on aircraft
  • Fabricate and modify structural components on aircraft parts
  • Perform minor structural repairs on composite components
  • Assist in conducting hidden damage inspections of aircraft structures
  • Assist with complex structural repairs on or off aircraft
  • Perform mechanical and electrical removals and installations as required
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in structural sheet metal repair and modification
  • Sheet metal A/C Tech school or equivalent schooling preferred
  • Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
  • Certification or A & P Certificate or Repairman Certificate – (Commercial Only)
  • Ability to work unscheduled overtime, including non-scheduled work days and holidays
