Stel, Inc. is a leading mental health residential rehabilitation and support provider in the Chautauqua-Allegheny region.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Counselor to join our team of professionals.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide case management, rehabilitative, and therapeutic services to residents in a community residence or apartment setting.

Responsibilities will include teaching, counseling, and monitoring residents' activities of daily living, developing skills and abilities that will facilitate a greater opportunity for the resident to live in an independent environment.

Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED and customer service experience
  • Healthcare or behavioral health experience is a plus
  • Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field or an associate degree in a human service-related field and three years experience in human services or a high school diploma/GED and five years experience in human service
  • Must possess a working knowledge of current issues and concerns of people with mental illness, rehabilitative training methods, and community resources
