Rehabilitation Counselor Opportunity

Southern Tier Environments for Living, Inc. is a leading mental health residential rehabilitation and support provider in the Chautauqua-Allegheny region. We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Rehabilitation Counselor to join our team of professionals.

Job Summary

As a Rehabilitation Counselor, you will provide case management, rehabilitative, and therapeutic services to residents in a community residence or apartment setting. Your primary responsibility will be to teach, counsel, and monitor residents' activities of daily living, developing skills and abilities that will facilitate a greater opportunity for independence.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to residents
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor and report on resident progress
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide education and training on daily living skills
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service experience
  • Healthcare or behavioral health experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • Ability to travel to and among various facilities
