About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Services Psychotherapist to join our team at Henry Ford Health System. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide evidence-based care in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, conjoint, group, and family psychotherapy services
  • Conduct crisis intervention services as needed
  • Ensure the quality of care is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's (or Doctoral) degree in clinical or counseling psychology with one year supervised post-masters experience
  • OR a Master's degree in Social Work with two years post-Master's experience in mental health/chemical dependency setting
  • Licensed Psychologist; OR Limited Licensed Psychologist; OR Licensed Master's in Social Work
Preferred Skills

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience providing individual, group, and family therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults up to age 21 and their families
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective behavioral health care plans
  • Experience working on a multidisciplinary/integrated team in a school environment, outpatient behavioral health setting, or primary care setting with high-risk patients/families
