Job Summary:

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, or AWS CodePipeline. You will collaborate with developers to automate build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring code quality and consistency. Additionally, you will provision, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure within Azure and AWS, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and databases. You will also develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC), utilizing tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Collaborate with developers to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Provision, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure within Azure and AWS.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure swift resolution.
  • Work across multiple groups to ensure project completion for various projects.
  • Champion DevOps culture across the organization, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing between development and administration teams.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Proven expertise in source code management with GitHub.
  • Deep proficiency in Azure and AWS services (EC2, S3, Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Azure AVD, etc.).
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of infrastructure security principles and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
