As a Licensed Vocational Nurse at the County of Los Angeles, CA, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital inpatient care unit. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LVN to join our team.

About the Job

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
  • Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Requirements
  • A current license to practice as a Vocational Nurse issued by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.
  • Experience providing patient care in a healthcare setting.
  • A certification in accordance with American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program.
