Duke Cancer Network Triangle Rotating Hematologist-Oncologist Physician in Raleigh/Durham, NC

Duke Health is seeking a skilled Hematologist-Oncologist to join their community-based cancer treatment program in Raleigh/Durham, NC. As a member of the Duke Cancer Network, this physician will have the opportunity to develop a general Hematologist-Oncologist practice with a clinical area of special interest on well-resourced teams.
Key Responsibilities- See 12-15 patients a day while developing a general Hematologist-Oncologist practice
- Provide call coverage at Duke Cancer Network clinical affiliate sites on an as needed basis
- Participate in tumor boards, clinical trials research, and teaching Duke Oncology fellows in clinic
A typical week would include an average of 3.5 clinic days seeing your own panel of patients, and 1.5 days of protected time to focus on academic interests. This role is ideal for a physician with a strong interest in collaborating with Duke sub-specialists to develop cancer treatment protocols for local communities.
