Clinician/Educator (80-90% clinical; 10-20% academic)Board Certification in Oncology requiredFaculty appointment = Regular rank appointment (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor) commensurate with academic achievement and experienceDisease focus = singular disease focus in either Breast, Gastrointestinal (GI), Genitourinary (GU), Melanoma or Thoracic OncologyClinical responsibilities include:Outpatient Clinic and Coverage of Infusion Services at Duke Cancer CenterInpatient Rounding on Solid Tumor ServiceAcademic responsibilities include:Clinical ResearchEducation = teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Clinician/Educator (90-100% clinical; 0-10% academic)Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology requiredFaculty appointment = Regular rank appointment (Assistant Professor) or Non-regular rank appointment (Clinical Associate)Disease focus = Disease concentration in Genitourinary (GU) Malignancies, but with ability to consult on all solid tumors and hematology (benign and malignant)Clinical responsibilities include:Outpatient Clinic and Coverage of Infusion Services at Duke Raleigh Cancer Center or Duke Cary Cancer CenterInpatient Consultation on Hematology/Oncology Service (staffed by Hospitalists)Academic responsibilities include:Clinical ResearchEducation = teaching of fellows in the outpatient setting
Positions available at Duke Regional Hospital in north Durham, NC:
Clinician/Educator (90%-100% clinical; 0-10% academic)Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology requiredFaculty appointment = Regular rank appointment (Assistant Professor) or Non-regular rank appointment (Clinical Associate)Disease focus = Concentration in all solid tumors (Breast, GI, GU, Thoracic); Disease concentration in Breast or Genitourinary (GU) Malignancies, but with ability to consult on all solid tumors and hematology (benign and malignant)Clinical responsibilities include:Outpatient Clinic and Coverage of Infusion Services at Duke Regional Cancer Center or new offsite clinic locationInpatient Consultation on Hematology/Oncology Service (staffed by Hospitalists) if working at Duke Regional HospitalAcademic responsibilities include:Clinical ResearchEducation = teaching of fellows in the outpatient setting
