Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial models to support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and five-year planning processes.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Finance during GL close and budget process.
  • Support the Director of Operational Finance in all essential functions.
  • Develop financial proformas to evaluate and inform financial impact, risks, and course of action on strategic and operational opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor capital budget expenditures for physician practice and hospital operations.
  • Provide analytical support and consulting services to Directors and physicians to assist with labor planning and revenue management.
  • Provide reporting to hospital and physician leadership to assist in evaluating, interpreting, and recommending changes to improve hospital and physician practice results.
  • Manage and develop financial analysts in support of above objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5-10 years experience with Finance/Accounting responsibilities required.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare accounting and finance concepts, and hospital and physician billing methodologies.
  • Demonstrate competent management, problem-solving, and technical skills.
  • Excellent relationship development skills.
  • Ability to think creatively to solve problems outside of normal experience.
